Okay, so this is a total bragging thread I know, but I just had to share my excitement!!! Plus, it was through all the great recommendations on TPF that I decided on the 80-200mm (for only $700!!!!) I picked up the 28-105mm just because he was offering it so cheap.

Congrats. You are going to love that 80-200 2.8... awesome lens. I had that exact model for a couple of years before getting my 70-200, and I loved it. :thumbup:

I wanted the 70-200, but for SO much less I got this one.....SO I'll start here!

It is HUGE!! Guess trying to be discrete is out of the question! lol

Anyone use the 28-105mm before? Thoughts?

Enjoy! I recently purchased the 80-200 push-pull version. Not lightning fast focus, but pretty decent optics.
