These shots were taken with an istD all shutter speed were 15-30 seconds with an aperture of 22 (since i couldn't really focus that well) used a tripod. Sorry about so many images in the post, but its the first one in quite a while

i like the background more than the firworks here

tighter crop or do yall like seeing the flare at the bottom?

no worries about all the photos in the post.

will say (as you probably all ready know) - it looks like you forgot to crop the 3rd photo .

however, like you i really dig the second one, it looks more like something like a meteor falling out of the sky- and the sky looks really wicked. That one really stands out for me.

Actually, cropping the 3rd photo was what gave me problems. I just started using the gimp for editing and i couldn't figure out how to fit the canvas to the photo size.

Pretty good Trog. My istD should be here this week. What lens(es) do you have?

I've got a SMC Pentax-FA f3.5 28-80mm and a SMC Pentax-FA f4.7 100-300 mm lens.


Also I just remembered I used a polarizing and a ND 2 filter on these shots to get an even longer shutter speed.
