Newb, 1st post

See, my problem is I'm too anal! It drives my wife crazy lol. But ya, 3 months and counting. I do a lot of reading online ect and check out sites like this. I have found that Portrait Photography is my thing, now I want to narrow down
a editing style and I think I'll be happy! Thanks for the kind words!

I donno man, I'm just not buying it. You photographing a kid at the beach, and a kid in a sweatshirt within 3 months time. 3 months ago it was november. I think who ever took those pictures is a great photographer and has alot more experience. Those are no doubt great pics, but I don't think your the noob you claim to be.

lol, you got me I bought my D40 late October. I live here in hot/sunny FL and the beach shot was in early November (Still very nice at the beach). The boy in the sweater shot was a few days ago at my daughters B-Day. But thanks for the compliment, best one yet!
I have learned a ton from just searching forums like this, Flickr and from the vet. Unnecessary. Before I post up a pic I run it by him

Lol. I know Jason personally and he isnt lying. He starting 3-4 months ago max. He has just had a killer teacher or two...

I started shortly after he did and Im still crying he is better than me...

NO ONE IS BETTER THAN ME DAMN IT! JK JK.

Damnit I can't stop looking at the pics they are fantastic!! Bravo. I'm just a little jealous. You are seriously talented and hope to take pictures half as good as those one day. stay cool :thumbup:
