Newbie from NC

Hi there, I just picked up a Canon AE-1 to try to delve back into the world of "tangible" photos! I am super excited to get going. Haven't been in a darkroom in 15 years, since my mother first taught me. Hoping to assemble the darkroom a bit at a time, and be developing my own prints within a month or two. Hopefully, it will be like riding a bike, because I'm not sure how much I will remember!

Trying out my new OLD camera on my 5 year old daughter, she said, "Let me see the pictures, where are the pictures?!" LOL. I don't think she has ever even seen the results of a film camera.

Super excited, and lots of reading ahead so I can learn how to use this amazingly heavy camera!

Wow, I forgot about this forum almost immediately. Must try harder! I'm about 2 and 1/2 hours from Raleigh, over on the coast.
