Newbie from Toronto, Ontario

Hey Everyone, thought I would introduce myself as I have been lurking here as a guest for a little while. I found a lot of useful information here to help me decide on the camera that was best for me.

I finally did it, I bought a Canon T2i with the kit lens (EF-S 18-55 IS). I also bought an after market adapter to get my old Minolta lenses to fit while the hobby fund builds back up and it will give me time to determine what lenses I should be getting.

I haven't been using the camera much since I got it as I'm in the process of trying to find a new apartment and packing up the one I live in now. I did take it while I was on vacation but for most of the shots I "cheated" and used automatic.

Once I get all the moving done you will be hearing from me a lot more.

Looking forward to all the knowledge I can get from here.
