Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and looking for some comments to my attached photos. Interested in wildlife photography, I recently bought a canon 600d with 55-250mm lens.

To make sure that I am travelling in right path, I'd like to get tips from experts here from all around the world.

Please point out the mistakes I have done in these photos.

Welcome to the forum! It looks like you're off to a good start! Your focus and exposure look good; one suggestion I will make is to avoid composing your images with the subject in the centre. It's generally considered a more pleasing composiition if the subject is off centre at least somewhat. Read up on "The rule of thirds" and "The golden mean"; two compositional theories which may help you. Bear in mind that photography is art, so there are no 'rules' rather these are commonly accepted guidelines, but they don't hold true in all cases.

Tons of thanks for your comments. I will read 'the rule of thirds' and apply it in my future clicks

I agree. These are nice and you are on your way. I would study composition. It is amazing how deep it goes and it is really quite fascinating. I think this is one of the things that separate good photograph from a great for one. You will learn how to lead the viewer eyes around your shot taking it all in and ending up exactly where you want them to focus on the subject. There is a lot to it so I would study it. It is not hard but there just is a lot to learn. Keep up the good work and welcome.

I agree with all the comments made. My only suggestion would be regarding aspects of composition, you might also want to look up the topic of "negative space" as the top two and the bottom right might benefit from the use of negative space. Also, in future, numbering your images makes it a lot easier for a reviewer to refer to them in any CC follow up.

To get you started, here are a few that helped me when I was starting out. This one by Ron Bigelow is the first of a series of three web articles on composition. References/links to following section an be found at the end of each article. - Advanced Composition -- Part I.

This link - Photography Composition Articles Library - is to a page of links to articles on various aspects of composition. Hope this helps.
