hello,

You're doing quite well for a beginner.
For #1, you should have tried to shot from lower to have a different perspective.
#2, too much blown hightlights to me. Shooting in full sun is very tricky! Look for shade.

#3, I like it. You shoudl have tried a close up on the face with a low aperture or portrait mode.

The ones of the kids are not bad but a lots of hightlights.
Make sure you focus on the eyes.

Thanks, the soggy bottle kid with blue eyes is mine, lol.

I PS'd the kid in the hole more than the others - it was really dark underneath the decking where he was on the playground and overcast to boot, but it was so cute I wanted to salvage it.

I'm taking the kids to the arboretum in a few days so I hope to get more non-kid photos and some practice on the new camera.
