Newbie would appreciate some C&C

Relatively new to photography as a hobby. I am still learning how to use my camera properly and to use manual mode. Here are some of my better shots thus far for C&C please. Thanks in advance folks!

I am really liking the "wall of fire" effect in #5.

1 and 3 I like. Some of the leaves and stems in 1 are unattractive (depends on the intent of the pictures) but those pictures IMO, are the better ones.

Wow. I love the photos of the sky, they really caught my eye. The color is great, and I know how hard it is to capture a perfect sky.

You have a good eye for composition. Some of these just weren't the best opportunities (e.g., poor background for the flower in #1), but keep shooting and you'll come up with some really good stuff! (and watch out for those water fowl!)

haha i've never seen a picture of a duck like that with his mouth open! i love it! hahahaha he looks flabbergasted! great shot!

Yes that goose was protecting her nest. She was quite upset at all the attention.
