Need a little help..

So I am doing my third NB session and I still have YET to figure out the best settings to use for their skin tone, and pictures in general
What do you recommend?

Ehhh... these really are things you should have sorted out before your FIRST session*! The first thing you need to do is get your WB correct. I use an X-rite Colour Passport; they're inexpensive and there's a great Light Room plugin that allows you to dial in your colours exactly. Lighting for newborns is not something with which I'm familiar, but if I were to do it, I would probably look for either a nice, large window, or use a large soft-box (say 48") to simulate a large window. As long as your light source is consistant, then your results should be consistant as well.

*I assume by the use of the word 'session' that you are in fact being paid for this; if not ignore the comment.
