Newborn photoshoot Lighting

Hello all,
Just curious what other photographers use on their newborn shoots - natural light or strobes? Both? Would love to get other's opinions. Thanks.

If good natural light is available.. then I might use it. There are a lot of "pro's" out there that use nothing but natural light (a lot of them (most?), because they don't know how to use strobes! Heck.. half of them don't know what a reflector is.)

Some (who know how) will mix natural and strobe... but that requires more knowledge than many have.

Me? I prefer to use strobe.. it is consistent! Always! And with good modifiers, it gives you a lot of options!

Often what I use depends on the setting, my mood, and other things too... I use whatever gets the images I want... ( and I seldom shoot newborns anymore.. would rather shoot bugs!)
