I just finished watching this show on the discovery channel. has anyone seen this camera. Its called the lytro camera. This looks so cool. It focuses on everything in the frame in one shot. Then you can change the focal point in post. Just wow!

Been a lot of threads on this. In the future I can see this technology being more useful for Video then stills. Currently the resolution is very low--likely less then 1mp.

Yes I noticed the low resolution. Still imagine never missing the focus

To be fair they claim its a 3mp camera, but i have my doubts--the output resolution may differ from the native resolution.

I can see this tech being amazing for video, especially considering that u should be able to abstract depth info as well, making compositing a breeze.
