Photos NOT OK to edit
I went out around 7 am to shoot the falls, it was overcast so dull conditions but I thought overall they came out okay.

Remarkably clear.
The walk from where you were, to Dufferin ISlands is my favourite Niagara walk. I usually park at Dufferin Islands, (free Parking) and walk down to the falls.

Pictures I’ve taken over the years here.

This is far from my complete collection. IN the park across the sreet from where you were there is cute little spot great for birding, I have Cardianal and Swallow imges taken there. I’m part way through running my collection through Topaz, sorry I can’t give you more. But as general rule, the more time you spend in the area, the more great pictures you’ll have to take home. So many great opportunites. My step son used to live there, so I had a free place to stay, twice a year for a week visit, for 8 years.

If you’re int he area for while, I can give you more pointers on where to go for the best photographic experience.
If I was younger and more ambitious, I’d be running photo tours.

Thanks so much for the info, I was pushed for time as I was down for a few days on business. Was staying on the Canadian side but each morning I had to travel across the border to Tonawanda. I had about 30 minutes that morning which isnt much due to all the walking to go up and down the walkway. I only brought the 1 lens figuring I was only going to have a chance to grab a few shots of the falls. It was quite calm so the mist was heading straight up for the most part.

You have some wonderful shots of the falls, some very interesting perspective shots very nice.

Very nice set! I haven't been since I was a little tyke.
My parents use to take us when i was small and the falls back then just roared as very little was diverted for hydro. Now barely 25% of the water actually goes over the falls the rest is diverted. Still impressive but not like it use to be.
