I walked in the woods another time and saw a small bear and tried to get closer to it and then thought, wait this is a baby bear, backpeddle!

No this wasn't early, maybe around 10 am but a overcast day, which is why the muted colors and detail in the shadows. I don't think it would have come off if a bright sun was out.

nice shot! the title conjurs up something different in my minds eye too! and you've seen a small bear saddog? we can only see them in a zoo over here, you would'nt have seen me for dust! you can bet that mum or dad would have been close by.
