Night lighting exercise: (Use what's available.)

I decided last week to do a little street walking/shooting with my friend.
My objective was to A. Not use any fill flash, and B. Use only what lighting I could find for the scene.

We came across a spot that seemed pretty cool.
Overall, I'm a little disappointed.
My D200 really maxes out at 1600, and anything further is too noisy to use.

What do you think of these shots?

Aside from what has already been pointed out by 2WheelPhoto, I like the middle shot. I like how the light falls off as it goes down her jacket, and intensifies as you follow her line of sight. Maybe you could have used an even longer exposure (and save some ISO?) on the first shot.

There's something off about the last one... it's almost like the color saturation changes from right to left across her face. The right side is much more yellow, and the left side is gray. Maybe there were two lights with different color temperatures? Watch the composition so she's not so square, too... a stool or box or something would get her higher and get both her and the writing on the wall in the picture.
