I haven't taken many photos at night and I live in Chicago and figured it would be a great opportunity so does anyone have any tips for night shots. F stop and such. Also anyone from Chicago have any good locations or cool things to take pictures of. Thanks. I am using a Nikon D40.
Youtube has taught me so much over the past few months. I think this guy has a way to show and explain techniques that make it fun and understandable. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scTkyKARqEA]YouTube - DSLR Tips: Night Photography[/ame] And because I'm on Youtube already here's Chicago at night: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uR_Hq1F1Iw]YouTube - Chicago City At Night In Pictures: An Original NIKON D90 Slideshow By Laitham Haddad[/ame] The pictures may not be the best from the slide show but it might give you some ideas for your hometown.
Latham I watched your video of the Chicago skyline. I enjoyed it very much, some very cool shots. Thanks
Sorry about the confusion PB. That's not me. I was trying to say I was on YouTube searching flash techniques and thought I would just give some links to the OP while I was out searching lol
