not happy with the outcome of the bottom part of the photo

The first thing that came to mind when I looked at this was a question - "what are you trying to accomplish here?" The reason I asked that question is that I really don't see much here but a few bits of shiny cars along the bottom and some patches of blue sky in the upper half. It would help if I had some idea of what you were trying to show.
