I like where you are going here but both photos are out of focus. That is something you will have to work on. Had this been me I would have used a slightly smaller aperture like f11 or f13. You could clean these up some by increasing the sharpening and detail.

Very nice LungFish. Have you edited them in anyway?

Edit: and to follow on from Disco, I don't know if it's proper practice or not but when I was out shooting tonight I noticed that my images were sharper when not using my lenses image stabalisation (when using a tripod) for long exposures.

Raw processing - exposure, w/balance etc, and obviously the second image was cropped.

The Sigma doesn't have any but it's possible I f**cked up and left the VR on with the Nikon.

The second set was better. Better focus. Buildings look crisper.
