Nikkor 50mm ƒ/1.8D On The Way

Really looking forward to trying this lens and seeing how it compares to my 35mm ƒ/1.8G for portrait use mainly on my D90.

If anyone has some fun info or photos to share with this 50mm lens please post up to help me pass the time waiting for it to arrive.

Well see how these two play together, I may just end up selling them both for a Tamron 28-75 ƒ/2.8

This would make for good browsing. I like to surf the group pools on flickr for both product examples and also inspiration. Those two primes are going to make a nice pair. Now you'll just need the 85mm 1.8d!
