Nikkor Micro 60mm 2:8 D Aperture?

Hello friends, I just bought used Micro 60mm D, and was wondering what would be the optimal Aperture for this lens. Did the research, but could not find anything. Thank you.

It looks like the center peaks at f/5.6 and the edges at f/8. Shooting macro however, due to depth of field you'll likely end up stopping down more than this. This lens still does quite nice at f/16, which is a little more practical up close.
