Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 VR - thought?

And still, no samples of your work.

Your point is mute since the original poster has stated that they would rather invest in good, fast glass than to sacrifice their photos.

Do you read threads or just search for posts mentioning any faster than f/3.5 and go into attack mode?

Please identify where the OP said "the original poster has stated that they would rather invest in good, fast glass than to sacrifice their photos."

"Do you read threads" Or just run your hate filled mouth?

You stupid prick she said she wanted to take shots of her kid performing and there is no way the 28-300 or any kit lens will take shots in low light at a fast enough to freeze action

It has just been demonstrated that the last 2 posters are liars with a very bad attitude. People that have no business being on this forum. They lie and then call people pricks for calling them on the lie. Of course they band together much like street thugs band together.

again: Please identify where the OP said "the original poster has stated that they would rather invest in good, fast glass than to sacrifice their photos."

If Ken Rockwell recommends it then it must be good!! Lol

All you have to do is produce 1 good shot to prove everyone is wrong. Why havent you done it yet?

OP: I have to 80-200 2.8 and like it very much. I picked mine up used for 750.

Gary,Gary,Gary...come on man--you forgot to put in the words "shutter speed" in there....it should read:

"You stupid prick she said she wanted to take shots of her kid performing and there is no way the 28-300 or any kit lens will take shots in low light at a fast enough shutter speed to freeze action." :sexywink:

Because she wants to take photos of her kids in low light and the 28-300 will not do that, show me some low light shots you have taken with an F5.6 lens
