Nikon Autofocus Speedlight SB-24

Hey guys i was looking at a secnod hand Nikon AF Speedlight SB-24 for my D60 , i wanted to know, whats the big difference between this and the SB 600 that i was looking at, and what would be the smarter decision? a used flash or a spankin new one?
