Hi guys and gals,

I know there a lot of you out there. Would love to see some of your work with the D3100. I'm thinking about picking one up and would love to see some of the photos that it can produce.

Thanks :D

Awesome, thanks for the responses guys. Once I get off work I'll check the links out.

This guy does a review of it, and has good things to say about it for an entry level camera.

How do you know if sh!tty examples are because the camera sucks, or because the photographer sucks? :lmao:

I just got the D3100 for Christmas...so far it's okay BUT I went from a Canon Rebel XS to the Nikon...I'm finding it to be a bit of an adjustment going from a Canon to Nikon. Outdoor pictures are awesome-probably better then my Canon but I'm finding indoor photos (with crappy lighting) aren't as good as my canon.
It's def. a camera you want to play around-the more you play the better you will get :)

I just got the Nikon D3100 a few days ago and I'm new to DSLR photography and so far I'm very pleased with the pics it takes, although like I said I'm new but the pics are so clear.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys.

Light Artisan: Great shots, do you mind telling me what lenses you ar using for these shots?

AJKramer87: Like the little group thing that is going on in FLIKR. Would love to join/participate in that once I actually own a slr

The more research I do makes me want to pick up a D7000 instead. Not sure at this point. D3100 owners, do you think you will "outgrow" the camera? From what I have seen the D3100 is a very capable camera, just wondering what you guys think?

Thanks again for the feedback.

At the time I believe it was a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX Macro HSM for all of them. I'll double check later, on my phone now.

If you're already debating with yourself just save a step and some hassle and get the D7000. I don't think you'd regret it, ever. D3100 is a nice little camera though.

I think I will just wait until I can get both cameras in my hand before I make my decision. I have until May to ponder over it!!:(

So until then, I will continue to research...
