Well... Considering John mentioned that the BODY ONLY is selling for more than the kit that you have in question... What other info do you need?

Yes, that seems like a good deal,

My question would be. What is typical price for used camera equipment? There has to be some type of equation on deprecation.

Anyone else?>

I had the same deal for $625 plus I had the D5000 book w/manual. Almost have enough for D7000 W/18-105mm, I have a 50mm 1.4 and sb-600 which soon I can use remotely :)
Typical bodies I was looking on ebay for an average 475-525. I was happy with that camera and miss it but can't wait for the D7000.

I picked up a used Canon T3 w/lens (granted not nikon) for $400 + s/h. My mom picked up the same camera with a kit and a 75-300mm for about $600 so as long as the camera and lenses are in good shape I'd order it in a heartbeat
