Nikon dx lens question

I have the dx 18-135 that came with the D80 kit. Since it's a lens made for digital camera does that mean the focal length is 18-135 and I don't have to do the multiply by 1.5 thing to figure what focal length I'm actually at?

No, the apparent focal lenght is still affected by the "crop factor". DX lenses project a smaller image circle.

Do you know what the number number to multiply by would be to get the correct focal length?

The crop factor is determined by the size of the sensor relative to the size of a 24x36m (full frame) and is therefore the same for ALL lenses. I think the crop factor is about 1.5-1.6 for the D80.

Yep, the D80 has a crop factor of 1.5.
