Nikon MB-16

I recently purchased a Nikon N80, and I would love to have the MB-16 battery attachment for it. I like the idea of being able to use AA's in the camera, but I have another purpose. I want to do some 8 hour exposures and a set of 123's will only hold open the shutter for 6 hours in bulb mode according to the manual. Does the MB-16 have an external power jack on it, so I can run the camera off an external power supply? None of the infomation I find seems to specifically list this, but some sources "hint" at it.
