Nikon SB-910

So Nikon announced a new speedlight... the SB-910. Basically just an update of the 900 to fix a few little problems... which makes me wonder if I'd be better off just picking up an SB-800, which stood as the top-of-the-line Nikon speedlight for years and never needed an "update", and saving some money.

Hopefully this will address the over-heating/shut-down issue. I haven't shelled out for any 900s yet. I'm perfectly happy with my 800s/600s, but if they do sort out that issue, I'll be looking closely at them.

I was just reading Joe McNally's post about them (he got to use them for a few days) and he seems to think the overheating's been addressed well.

they slowed it down to fix the heat problem more than likely.

Sb-800s still the best for me.

IMO, that the SB-900 can zoom to 200 mm is a big plus over the 105 mm max zoom of the SB-800.

Hmm... A new SB Speed light, I wonder if their new announcement will be a new FX body? Those two will go beautifully with each other.
