Nikon School

They are having a Nikon school down here in Ft Lauderdale next weekend. Has anyone taken this course and is it worth it? Please let me know your thoughts.

Not personally but a couple of people I know Highly recommend it. It definitely couldn't hurt though!

 

If it is the one day "seminar" put on by the Nikon School, I would recommend it, especially if you are new to your SLR. I went back in 1992, before the digital revolution, and I thought it was pretty decent. The nice thing was, at least back then, they were pretty straight forward about it being a photography class, and not a Nikon sales pitch for "our cameras can do this, while the competition can't". I got a nice pocket reference book out of it that I still carry in my bag to this day.

 

How could I get more info and maybe enroll?

 

Hey, I'm new to this stuff, does Canon have a seminar? I'll start looking on their site, should I look somewhere else too?
