Nikon speedlights.... SB-600 or SB-800

I'm wondering if the SB-800 is worth the extra 120$ or so, for it's extra features. Just some background info, I've never used an external flash unit so I will be a novice for quite some time... I'm thinking of picking up a book on flash photography techniques as well. I'm not sure if the extra features of the 800 will be useful for me, although I do like the idea of a having a stroboscopic function.

If you have the extra cash for it and it's not going to make you broke then get it. I got the SB600 at an amazing price in London (£70 off rrp) with a 1 year warranty last month and I love it though it would be nice to have the SB800 but I simply can't afford it.

I use both and I would spend the extra money and get the 800.
