Nikon Vista PTP error

Hey everyone. I'm trying to tethered using Nikon Camera Control 2.6 with Lightroom 2. I think I am having a PC issue because it does not recognize my Nikon D40 when it is in PTP mode. When I go to the device manager I have an exclamation point next to the D40. Already updated my firmware to A 1.12 and B 1.11 Any way around this?

Have windows vista service pack 2
