had a 46mm hoya hmc cpl on there, don't know why it didn't have much of an effect. rotating it never seems to make much of a difference, or am i just not looking hard enough on the lcd display?

If you don't see much difference when rotating the filter, try changing the camera angle relative to the sun and rotate again.

Yep. With a CPL it's all about the angles, and a lot like shooting pool. It's known as the 'family of angles'.

A CPL will not control reflections in a car body as well as it will control reflections in the glass.

Lovely, this is when the 5 series still looked beautiful and before they turned into the ugly predecessor.
Today the 5 series is starting to get back to normal look but still not as gorgeous as this one, so clean and elegant design!
