No desire..

It's not so much that I don't have the desire... it's that I lack inspiration, haha. I *want* to pick up my camera... but WHAT in the hell should I point it at? That's what I've been dealing with this week, because I haven't been able to get too far from my house for various reasons.

Thats where macro comes in handy, it opens up a whole new world and allows you to do more close to home.

Everyone gets that way I am sure. Its that way with all artistic endevours. I actually find it very useful when I can't shoot, or when I don't feel like shooting, to look at pics online. Go to Flickr and look around. Try to spark your creativity, or find a cool pic and learn how they achieved it so that you are still learning just as if the camera is in hand. This then gives you things to practice and may make you re-consider many things close by that you never thought to shoot, but would be perfect for a specific technique.

Yes, when it's really cold and my fingers freeze to the body.

I was going to say:

Yes, when it's near 100 outside,
and my lens fogs up from the humidity.
Then you have to deal with the mosquitoes
chewing on ya, and the the occasional kamikaze
wasp dive bombing you. Ugh, 5 more months
of this stuff.. :x
