I try to be out there as much as possible and like always I run out of light. This GBH was pretty far away so I knew I couldn't raise my ISO because I wouldn't be able to crop. So I just went with it at 1/125th. Panning is tough on moving birds, but I kept the eye in focus and it gave a pretty cool background. Something different.. I think I like the third one the best... Comments welcome

Third one is superb (didn't see the first one on my first viewing - weird) - nice sharp eye, good lead out room and given the time, space, shutter, who could ask for more?

Wow, I'm impressed! #2 and 3 are both really cool shots--and sometimes I can't achieve that decent of a focus at 1/1000. If I tried shooting one of them at 1/125, instead of a GBH I'd end up with a GBM (Great Big Mess...).

Very nice set.

Brilliant, you did a sterling job there with your panning. :)
