I think that this proves otherwise. Shot handheld with the 70-200 ED AF, Nikon D100, with 2X teleconverter. This was taken at Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia SC. Comments?

I am assuming that it isn't digitally enhanced in any way? Its very nice, glad i wanted the one that said it couldn't be done :)

Thanks for the comments I think I made a typo on the lens...it is an 80-200 AF ED. That is a SWEET lens! This particular shot had the 2X teleconverter attached bringing that 2.8 to 5.6, but it still was sweet! I was shooting with a friend today and was using his lenses on this one (he also let me shoot the 2.8 300mm. That thing is a SCHWEET lens!).

As far as the Exif info, here it is:

Focal length - 160mm
f 5.6
1/45 sec
Spot Metering
Aperture Priority
0 exposure comp
Shot in JPG Fine mode

For processing, it was sharp straight out of the camera, but I did Run FM CSPro at a level of 2 to make it a little sharper. I also did an auto levels in PS7. That is it besides running the frame action on it to add the frame and cropping to size for the web.
