No Way to Profile Printer

The question still stands, but what I found out is that the inability to control/create a color profile for this printer is only an issue for Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Epson has left out any color management options from their driver update to this version of the OS. Very frustrating.

I have an Epson Stylus NX430 and I like this printer. However, when I try to calibrate with my ColorMinuki I'm instructed to turn off the printer's built in color management. I have no such option.

Under the printer's color settings there is just two choices; color or black & white. No profiles to choose from or disable. No way to create or store any profiles. Very, incredibly annoying.

I guess I need a new printer as it's imperative to be able to profile one's printer but I don't want to run into this limitation again.

So can anyone recommend an affordable printer that's not too expensive ink-wise. Or a solution to my problem?
