Funny thing is News reporters are saying that its more like a party in Scituate than a major storm. Scituate is often referred to as "a small drinking town with a big fishing problem"

A different snow storm at the same time upstate new York....... winds 40 mph.. blinding snow whiteouts........ very very cold....... so I can give sympathy.. hard to get pictures in driving snow and cold cold wind..... still beautiful picture though....

Normally, I would say that I am glad it is there and not here, but this awfully similar to the view out my back door right now - not the buildings, the SNOW. Environment Canada, that's our national "weather" folks, are predicting anywhere from 10 to 40 cm (4 - 16 in.) of snow in the next 24, for my part of the country, depending on how close to the mountains you are - closer folks get more snow. Needless to say, driving is not encouraged.

Hope yours passes without any problems.
