I took the typical Eiffel shots while in Paris, but I also tried approaching it in a different way. Let me know what you think :)

4. Probably one of my favorite shots

5. Not artsy, but I found it to be sort of a newspaper-esque type shot.

*Bonus Cliche Shot* This one was not an easy take. It was storming on our last night there and it was my only chance to get a shot of it at night. I had it set up on a tripod under my pancho, ran out, set it up and lifted the pancho above like a canopy to get it. It worked out well, minus parts of blown out sections on it.

They're nice images, but I think you missed on the 'not cliche' aspect, especially #3; that's right up there with the 'heart of hands' in materinity shots!

I like them they make me want to go there even more haha.

I wanna go there!!! :D Nice pics

DO IT! lol

Really? I hadn't really seen one done like that before, so its news to me (especially haven't seen it as much as the Heart of Hands shot lol). Oh well :/ Seems like you are also saying the others were cliche? How so?

Thanks for the input though, you always comment on my threads and I wanna thank you for that :)

I love #6.

My bonus cliche picture :) Thanks!

Seriously, if you ever get the chance, do it. Hated Paris at first, but totally warmed up to it. I want to go back badly!

Nice pics!

Thanks!

The second one is amazing!! Good job!

I think any photo of the Eiffel Tower is automatically going to be cliche. Its probably the most photographed image in the world and photographed from every single angle. I agree, I've seen a lot of people do #3 when I was there. I even did the group photo from underneath shooting upwards, but hey, its a fun shot. That said, they are good images! #5 might be the exception to the cliche rule since the subject is actually the crowd (Isreal?) and the tower is the background.

Hah, we did a shot like that too. 10mm definitely came in handy ;)

jealous...

Do they have Cafe du Monde there? LOL JK.

I sense that some people have been to New Orleans lol

I give this shot a 9. I would have given you a 10 if you had showed more of your crotch.
