but I kind of like it. seems like most photos i take while walking around in the woods don't turn out that cool but I kept this one.

What do you find cool about it? My guess is that it will be tough for others to see what you see in this photo.

I've been there and done that, and still have many like it that I could not delete.

I guess I could have worded that a little better, I can't say this is a cool photo. I just find it nice to look at. However it is kind of cool how there is a bunch of bare branches and than a bunch of bright red leaves all in one spot.

The small tree or shrub has lost all of its leaves, and the woodbine that is growing into it has not yet lost its leaves.

no selective color in this photo, I think i turned down the exposure and the saturation and that was about it. its definitely a little on the busy side but you kind of have to look past that and try to keep your focus around the center of the screen. but I like how you can see that all the other leafs around it are gone so I did not choose to crop it tighter or it might have lost some of that effect.

no i mean, there are a few shots that could genuinely use selective color as an artistic element to good effect, and this may be one of them.
