Maybe you're developing some standards? Possibly you've gotten to the point where, like in that old Bruce Springsteen song, you feel as if there are, "500 channels, and nothing on." Know what I mean?

Growth is usually punctuated with plateaus.

Granted, you're talking about others work more than your own.

However, keep in mind you're on a public internet forum and most stuff up here is pretty bad.

Go to a museum, as someone else suggested.

Also, don't get sucked into the trap of thinking a photo with a technical issue is necessarily a bad one.

Or that a photo with no technical issues automatically means it's a good photo, as with most art, beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I wouldn't play too much into everyone saying something is awesome on here. Everyday there's at least 2 or 3 posts when someone will post a photo and a bunch of super new people will get on there and say "awesome photo!" or "I love that, I don't know why, but I love it" etc. etc.

I'd say what you're going through will pass. I've went through funks where I just hated everything. A few months ago I was in one and I was even telling my wife how bad I didn't like this photographer's work from a couple towns away. Thing is, I'm okay with the guy, and I actually like a lot of his stuff. His photoshopping isn't too good, but his photography is pretty decent. I was just in one of those moods where everything just sucks.
