Good shot.
But I am not a bike photographer, so am not qualified to comment about the sport.
So what lens and how far away? Those bikes have to be going FAST.

OK, I thought about the image.
I would like a bit more space in front of the bike and below it, to give the bike visual space to drive into.
As it is it is on the edge of the frame, and there is no visual space for the bike to go forward into.
Although some might want space behind the bike, showing where he had come from, or how much he was ahead of his competitors.
Different schools of composition.
