This is my "pre" sample for those of you interested. Minor touch ups to her, blemish removal, nuked background to white. Nothin else done to skin or anything like that. Gonna do 3 different methods on this one and post up to see what ya'll like. Probly tomorrow though, I'm tired. Well maybe, got a boudior type undies shoot tomorrow night. we'll see.


For this pose, they are wanting a tattered type of old war beaten american flas as the background. Should look nice. So I may not go as heavy processing on her as in the other thread. I dunno yet, we'll see if I get a vision.

actually, probly gonna liquify her legs a tad to give them better shape...slight mostly. Think I should get rid of those wrinkles in neck from the turn...or are they not that prominent/distracting?

ok, Im done, here's a few. lol. I'm tired.

1 is processed like the others.
1 is processed like the others but with a few diff things, mostly no noise for age look.

The next three images in next post will be 3 different flags I used. I really think the flag in 3rd image of flag set will look great with image 2 of images set, however I'm tired and don't wanna do it. I'll do it tomorrow.

There are still touchups to be made if you pixel peep, but again, too tired, I'll touch em up later for final showing.

Opinions if you like on what taste sits best. Ultimately client will pick...and we all know how clients are, they never pick the ones we like. lol.

I opted for vertical flags. just my luck they'll horizontal flags. We'll see.

I think the first and last are best, depending on taste...if the grunge look is your thing, then 1 if more soft and femme then last. I still think last will look best with second image...smoother skin...fits the smoother flag.

I guess I could tone down sat in the first one...I didn't really up it as much as altered levels for more contrast to match the flag and set blend mode to multiply to attempt to match the dark theme of the flag. Inadverdently saturated it I guess. Not sure if it is over sat, as much as it could be a perception. *shrugs*

Oh, I also burned her a bit in number 1, overall at 4% then spot burn at 9% to get texture and feel I wanted.

I prefer #1... but being that the flag should never be grungy (according to some)... #3 is probably more traditional!

While I like the result I would have to say that isn't a traditional pin-up pose. It's a little too risque for 40-50 America.

Maybe too risque for a widely published pin-up back then... but a custom paint job on the nose of a bomber? Some were a lot more risque than this!

yeah, there were certainly more risque for sure. I duno if you read the first part of all this, but while I was trying my best to get them back to "traditional" pinup, the husband kept drifting towards what we got. Just kinda also shows that customer have an idea in their head...and they say key words like "pinup" or "boudior" etc...but what the really mean is " i like that kinda stuff but do this sorta looking like that".
