Dude, you read my mind. Last night when done I thought to myself.."this would rock if she had a machine gun" lol. Might have to add one. had I thought of that earlier, I would have had her pose her arms accordingly.

Yup, I wanted tattered war torn more than grunge...but gave the option. I admit I was a bit skeptical at first...as a former Marine I don't care for the flag being used in many things...so that in mind I wanted to not be disrespectful to it and kept it as backdrop. They toyed with idea of her wrapped in it, etc...but honestly I don't think I would do that. Just doesn't sit well with me.

I did do one where I removed her body on colored backdrop and kept flag in place of her silhouette....kinda looked neat. Don't have it here at work to share though.

It's not a bad shot at all man, sucks that the husband controlled it a bit too much (that's just the nature of the beast right...) After reading through all the comments I'd say a machine gun addition would've been one badass addition. The flag I'd say keep subtle, as it would help with the femininity of the shot. A solid concept though!

I'll add shadows/foundation later depending on final outcome of the shot...be it the drum/tshirt/poster or whatever they decide. I don't put all effort and finishing touches into things anymore until I know a shot is a final product worthy shot.
