This has been a REALLY GOOD post as far as looking at and evaluating different crops, C&C, and analysis of this shot. I like AlexanderB's take on the shot, in the post immediately above this one.

Derrel's crop is better because not only is the model included, but the distracting hot spots in the background are cropped as well.

Exactly. C&C like this and examples of how we see it different, helps a lot.

Derrel, are you near CS or PSE? if so, dupe the layer and multiply it, then unmask her. See if that helps the hotspot. (I can't do these actions at work, not available on PS online.)
