I have discovered that since My start with photography That i no longer like sunny day's , I like overcast day's now :lmao:

Then you soon will realize overcast weather doesnt give you much vibrant in color. Yes it is easier to shoot overcast day but I rather have sunny day.

It's true, but now whenever it's sunny I can't stop my brain from scoping out the spots with nice natural reflections and diffusion, whether the camera's with me or not.. :lmao:

Here is one on a sunny day.

I find overcast/grey days so much more pretty/enjoyable... i also really love rainy days and snowy days :/

I love the soft light and soft shadow edges overcast days provide.

I don't like the loss of color saturation, flat appearance of the light, and gray color cast overcast causes, which is why I use modified, strobed light on my subjects on overcast days.

I then get to choose the direction my main light is coming from, it's apparent size, the intensity of the light, and the color of the light.

I don't like blown-out skies on overcast days...

Since we have had tripple digit heat for more than 30 days, I'm also finding myself not loving sunny days. I've forgotten what rain looks like.

As far as photos go, it's just a matter of using what shade you can, seeing natural reflectors, and using proper fill flash.

Kerbouchard, where do you live? In Oklahoma it's been ridiculous.

So I too miss the rain lol. All our lakes/rivers/ponds are all but dried up it seems.

Yikes. We're both in the middle of this blasted heat-wave :/ Im considering moving to Canada just to escape.

Oh you guys... Let's see, for the past two and a half month, average temperature here was around 112. Hottest day? 121. Coolest? 103. LOL

Enough hijacking now... I like overcast days when shooting BW (film). That being said, I like Schwetty's picture taken on a sunny day, it's more vibrant and appealing.

@ Schwettylens - for a second there I thought those pictures were of the same groom but two different brides! How'd he pull that one off?!?!?
