Odd Crop, Tell me what you think

This was the north face of Pikes Peak this morning. There were fast moving clouds from a front and it got a deeper coat of snow less than an hour later.

I liked the look so much I hated to include all the sky above or the traffic below as they both detracted a lot. So it ended up looking like a panorama.

I like it, albiet very strong 'blue'. Maybe add a little warmth in your editing?

I think the crop is great. The panoramic works very well.

You would do the same thing in a darkroom if there was more information on the negative than you wanted in the finished print. Although I strive to get the composition in the frame exactly the way I want the final image, sometimes it just doesn't work. Nothing wrong with some creative cropping now and then.

This looks great as a panoramic. It's a great shot, too. I like the "blueness" - I think it enhances the feel of "cold mountain air" this scene captures.
