Odd problem with D300 & Grip, Lens Question Also

After shooting I went to chimp and nothing happened. Looking around, I looked in the viewfinder and the focus point was just moving around.

I tried everything. Finally, I took off the MB-D10 and it worked just fine. I could choose my focus point and also view photos.

I finally messed with the multi-selector on the grip and that seemed to fix the problem. I assume the selector got stuck some way.

I was shooting in rain/mist a week ago and wonder if that has something to do with it. I don't know if the grip is weather sealed as the body is and maybe moisture got in there and is messing around with stuff. Has anyone else had this problem?



Also, somehow I found that the font glass of my 18-135 is rotating. I don't know if it's supposed to and I just haven't noticed it or something came loose.

I see no problem with it but it bothers me it's rotating.
