Ode to Hanelei

The light cooperated with me, and things went according to plan for this shot. Italics for emphasis because that doesn't always happen! Only in the very early morning does the light come under Hanelei pier like this. So, like many mornings on this trip, the name of the game was to get up early and be there to capture it.

fantastic shot, hard to believe that is the same pier that is shown on so many generic Hawaii shots. I have shots of it, but from topside. Really neat perspective and coloring.
