What does it say in the manual?

Doesn't really say, that or I cannot find it. Will the pop up flash fire when something other than a speedlight is attached to the hotshoe?

It's been a long day but yes I think that's right, as long as there are no pre-flashes to prematurely fire the non-CLS lights.
