The first is kinda bright. and the backgrounds are a wee bit distracting, the first would be better darkened up i think.

I kinda thought that of #1 for the obvious reasons but #2 and #3 are fine. Maybe a tad centered but nothing a dynamic crop couldn't cure. Same with the BGs. I don't think they are too distracting but if you do the foreground is easily selectable for an invert and a lens-blur operation in PS. Ever use that tool? It's very sweet for stuff like this?
