Oh what a colorful world

Just a couple of color punched shots lately I have been stuck in the field but it was a theme of the week on another board I frequent so thought I would share these two. Thoughts and general bashing are always welcome and will be taken with a shot of whiskey. I know the first shot is a tad centered but it was what I preferred.

Yes, yes it is.

I'm not crazy about the composition of either of these, but I think the first is much better then the second.

In #2, I feel like too much of the scene is missing or cut off. Maybe it's the very long depth of field, but my eyes aren't immediately drawn to the boats

Whoa,whoa,whoa, what's with the green combines!!!! Ewwww! Ever-body know the best combines is red!!!

(I used to be a combine operator in my youth!)

What filter did you use on the first? The pale horizon line is nice... filter or editing?
