But if you have the patience, and the know how, you can get very close to a lot of animals. Read an army field manual for snipers...they can be very informative

I have read many books about snipers, since it was a "thing" I was interested in, just in case. Whitefeather is the man!
Call me a paranoid redneck, but this is my sniper rifle, 300 Win Mag, bull barrel, sub MOA groups, 3.5-10x, mil-dot reticle, 1/4 MOA adjustment on the target turrets. Not bad for a Savage 110FP, but I need to upgrade both for true far out shots. A 6.5-20x scope with a 50+mm objective would be nice, as well as an HS Precision rifle to go along with it.

Yes I am one of those gun packing silly rednecks, and this one is only the start of what I own.
Well off topic a bit there, I guess it is time to craft that ghillie suit that I have been meaning to make. A pure burlap ghillie suit without artificial dyes. FUN!
